+ Local Illinois ChemE’s may have heard about this incident a couple of weeks ago, but for those who haven’t; the Carus Chemical Plant in LaSalle, IL went up in flames on January 11th causing nearby residents to seek shelter and emergency respondents to fight the immense fire that emerged.
