Minimum Requirements:
– B.S. Environmental Engineering or Science, or closely related
– 5+ years experience of handling and managing environmental regulatory permits (air, water, waste)
– The following industries will be given priority: chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food additives

Description:
You’ll be responsible for supporting the health, safety, security, and environmental compliance program – mainly focusing on air and water regulations. You’ll be working with and acting as the liaison through the permitting processes with local, state, and federal authorities, ensuring all regulations are compliant and implemented throughout the site. You’ll be assisting with developing and managing projects that improve the companies’ impact on the environment, analyzing risks, documenting, and tracking actions that are planned/completed. You’ll also be overseeing the site’s hazardous waste program.

The plant itself is located southwest of Charlotte and is surrounded by affordable housing and lots of stuff to do outdoors. Charlotte has a major, international airport and the ocean is about 3 1/2 hours away (Myrtle Beach, Charleston).

Compensation: $90,0000 to $105,000/yr. base salary, depending on level of experience, 6-10% target bonus, relocation assistance, & more
