Minimum Requirements:
– B.S. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or closely related
– 2+ years of in plant engineering experience with maintenance/reliability
– Background out of chemicals, foods, or widgets preferred
– SAP knowledge preferred, but can be taught

Description:
This opportunity is with a high-purity specialty chemical manufacturer located nearby New Jersey. This is an onsite role at a medium sized plant that is fully automated (DCS controls) producing products for the automotive and consumer goods industries. This site has a phenomenal safety record and housekeeping. It has implemented great preventative and predictive maintenance programs with $5M of capital being invested annually, with talks of major expansions in the near future. This site has a fully staffed maintenance department including maintenance and electrical technicians. Some of the equipment being used are pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, pressure vessels, and distillation columns. 20% of the time you’ll be doing day-to-day support, 30% will be short term assignments, and 50% will focus on long term initiatives. You’ll be assisting with designing and completing projects, analyzing failures/repairs, root-cause analysis, and setting department goals. You’ll be reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. Most people live in PA, DE, and NJ which are surrounded by a lot of reputable school systems.

Compensation: $95,0000 to $120,000/yr. base salary, depending on level of experience, 4% target bonus, relocation assistance, & more
